Halo 4

 Halo 4 is a first person shooter created by 343 Industries (taking over from Bungie) for the Xbox 360.  This game follows the exploits of Master Chief, who hasn’t appeared since Halo 3 (a game in which I own but have yet to unwrap, which means I really don’t understand the story in the slightest).  I was fortunate enough to play this game through in it’s entirety in co-op mode with my friend while visiting.  I can’t really speak to the single player aspect of this game, but judging from how often…read more

Arma 2 mod DayZ – Game Review

This review is specifically about the mod for Arma 2 called DayZ, since I have yet to actually play Arma 2. Arma 2 was designed to be an authentic army simulator, where you can only carry so many items, weapons and vehicles act similar to how they do in the real world, and you win with tactics not “health packs”.  The DayZ mod takes that idea but adds in zombies to the rolling countryside of fictional Chernarus (a russian zone).  What is really interesting is that the mod provides no…read more

Borderlands DLC – General Knoxx Review

I have been playing Borderlands off and on for over a year since I got the Game of the Year Edition and I love it, I just play it so much that I need to take a break after each DLC.  I am continually amazed at the quality and quantity of these Borderlands DLC packs, this one took me another 20 hours or so to complete;  Great stuff. Hard Reset – Game Review

I picked up Hard Reset during an Indie Royale deal because I heard it was a serviceable shooter with some good effects from a relatively indie team.  Turns out Hard Reset is a serviceable shooter with some good effects.
