God of War 3 – Review

Posted by in Games

When I played the first God of War, I was thrown off by the game basically just dropping you on a boat with some bad guys bearing down on you, it seemed like a mindless beat ’em up. I am so glad I continued playing that first game because I have enjoyed every God of War game I’ve played so far, and it makes me think about buying a PSP/NGP just to play the mobile games.  This series is completely in my wheel house. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood – Review

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is basically Assassin’s Creed 2 part 2 and continues the story of Ezio Auditore, the 15th century ancestor of the protagonist, Miles.  I expected big things from this game and even bought the collectors edition for the jack in the box and the making of DVD.  It didn’t disappoint.

I…read more

Batman Arkham Asylum – Review

I had been holding onto this game for months, rented from GameAccess.ca, as I’d been fairly busy with work and planning and taking my scuba vacation in the Bahamas.  The World of Warcraft expansion also came out but I haven’t been playing that, sadly I bought it and played less than 5 hours total so far.  Anyway, I finally got around to playing Batman at the beginning of January and I’m glad I did.

Ghostbusters – Video Game Review

Posted by in Games

I stayed up late because I knew I was right at the last stage of Ghostbusters, the new game which is set between Ghostbusters 2 and Ghostbusters 3 movies. Ghostbusters seems like it should be a very good game, all original voice actors, fairly good digital rendering, and new gadgets added on to the standard proton pack.  The game plays fairly well, and the story is decent enough to keep you interested. I just quit the game in frustration and I really doubt I’ll put it on again, let me…read more
